GM reveal guide — keep private

Read the full adventure before play. Start with all four evidence cards concealed; two ticket props may be placed face down. Locations can be investigated in different orders. These are reveal conditions, not a required sequence.

Two questions, two explanations

Ticket A records the single booked journey

A material feature combines with an independent issue record. The repeated seat number alone does not distinguish original from image.

Combine: Two tickets against the light + Seat-six booking roll OR Reversible print test + Seat-six booking roll.

The waiting reflection belongs to an unfinished demonstration

The observed image-only print process and the unsigned cover step explain the timing and persistence of the reflection.

Combine: Reversible print test + Unfinished demonstration log.

If the table stalls

Ask, “Which fact came from the ticket, and which came from an independent record?” Let the group revisit a card. The retained-record check costs two checking intervals; read the full action before offering it. A witnessed later exchange or suspension remains an honest closure if boarding cannot be completed.

Physical prop limits

The marked circles and notes stand for magical observations. The printed sheet will not reverse its ink or produce a real blotter transfer. After the corresponding test, read its card as the observation. Do not treat real printer behavior as puzzle evidence.

Answers on individual cards

Two tickets against the light

A has a material punch; B carries its reflected appearance. Booking evidence is still needed to establish entitlement.

Seat-six booking roll

With the punch or ink test, the roll authenticates Cera’s original rather than merely repeating her claim.

Reversible print test

The ink test independently distinguishes original and image and links the duplicate to the demonstration method.

Unfinished demonstration log

The print process and log establish an unclosed demonstration connection, rather than an extra traveler or stolen reservation.
